- It is recommended that the OSPEN pipe’s nominal diameter is at minimum 1.5 times larger than the outer diameter of the protected cable.
- Clients orders for pipes longer than the aforementioned standard length are acceptable. However, if the requested dimensions are too large, orders may not be fullfilled due to transportation limitations.
Accessories
Join-Sleeve
Used to connect two OSPEN corrugated hdpe pipes of the same size.
Bell mouth
Used during cable pulling to reduce friction, making cable installation easier and preventing damage or abrasion to the cable sheath.
PVC Tape
Used in combination with rubber sealing tape and vulcanized rubber to ensure a watertight seal at the coupling joint.
End-cap
Screwed onto the pipe end to prevent water, sand, dust, insects, and foreign objects from entering the pipe.
Rubber cap
Used to seal the cable exit from the pipe, preventing water from entering the interior.
Rubber Tape (40mm x 5m)
Used together with PVC tape to seal pipe joints.
Cover
Used at locations where OSPEN pipes enter manholes or pass through wall surfaces, ensuring a neat and aesthetic installation.
Gauge
Used to maintain and secure the spacing between OSPEN pipes installed in parallel.
Cable Warning Tape
Laid over underground trenches to warn that cables are installed below, ensuring caution during excavation.
